Tallebudgera Beach/Creek.

Tallebudgera Creek offers water lovers a prime spot for swimming without the constant rush of the ocean’s waves.

Less than 50m from the car park, you are standing on white sands with the creek slowly moving before you.

Across the creek is the dense bushland of Burleigh Head National Park with another sandy bank on the far side.

Many bring their stand-up paddleboards, kayaks or canoes here and if fishing is your thing, you might like to know that Tallebudgera is an Aboriginal word, said to mean good fish.

With its turquoise waters, shallow sand banks, walking tracks and access to the ocean,

it’s a real natural beauty spot
